Forgotten Road

I don't know what to write. I have all these thoughts torturing me every single day and night. In my thoughts and in my dreams. A hole inside of me that I am trying to fill. No matter how much I try clog up this void it gets bigger and more painful.
In my dreams I look ahead at the path I have chosen. May it be the right or wrong choice I have chosen it. I look back at the path I have walked, sometimes even venture back through it. The road overgrown with vines and barbs. I wonder if there was a way back to where I have come from. I wonder was life so bad. Was it so empty that I had to run. Was it an emptiness that was always there which is now deeper because I have left the best part of me behind. I wonder if the road that I walked would lead me back to what was there before and what I now realise was contentment. I wonder would everything be different. All I have left behind, gone or changed into something I don't recognise. And the thought of this pain too terrifying to contemplate. Will I always be plagued by guilt and regret. Will I always dream about what never can be and should have been.
All I have is this path I have chosen and I walk it, each step further from memory and I am plagued with my pinning for what is left behind.

Hopefully, after I have sold a kidney, I will be looking to buy a computer for digital art.
Has anyone got any experience in buying one of these?
I dont really want a laptop, as I am the type that likes to spread out and work in one area.
